Square Enix recently announced that they would be releasing a new batch of the “Ultimate Collector’s Edition” for their much awaited new game “Final Fantasy XV.”
However, the game developer told fans that interested players who have not had the chance to grab a pre-order of the first batch might experience a set back as the company cannot promise that the new set of collector’s editions would arrive on time for the game’s official release date.
The first batch of the collector’s edition of the game, which was only limited to 30,000 units, sold out quickly after it was put on pre-order exclusively via the Square Enix official online store.
The “Final Fantasy XV: Ultimate Collectors Edition” features the main “Final Fantasy XV” game disc for the PlayStation 4 and/or the Xbox One as well as several exclusive bonus items. It has two exclusive steelbook casesone has the main game disc as well as a physical Blu-ray disc of the “Kingsglaive: Final fantasy XV” 3D feature film. The second Steelbook case features a physical Blu-ray disc of the “Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV’ anime series special and a special edition official soundtrack Blu-ray.
The Ultimate Collectors Edition will also include a special edition hardback, 182-page artwork book that contains exclusive artwork from the game. Moreover, it will have bonus in-game items such as the Royal Raiment DLC, FFXV Masamune DLC, Platinum Leviathan DLC, and item packs such as the Travel Pack, Camera Kit, Angler Set, and Gourmand Set.
The highlight of the bundle is the exclusive Play Arts Kai Noctis variant figure measuring 26cm tall. The “Final Fantasy XV: Ultimate Collectors Edition” was put on pre-order for a price of $270.
“Final Fantasy XV” will be released on Sept. 30.
