'Final Fantasy IX' news: Steam page up, system requirements detailed

The upcoming remaster of the PlayStation classic “Final Fantasy IX” now has its official Steam page. With that, new features as well as the list of minimum and recommended system requirements are now available to players eyeing to get the game for their PC.

First off, as one may have expected, a major visual and graphical enhancement will be made, with the game now in at least HD resolution. Also, players who will avail of the PC version will be able to earn Steam Achievements and Trading Cards as they play along.

The autosave feature will also be added, perfect for people who don’t always remember to save, especially for critical story points, such as a boss battle. Also, game “boosters” will be addeda total of seven of them. The high speed gameplay option and the No Encounter option that were first introduced in “Final Fantasy VIII” will be included in the “boosters.”

The following are the minimum system requirements for a PC to be able to at least run the game in optimal settings.

The remastered version of “Final Fantasy IX” will be released for the PC. The Android and iOS version will arrive soon.
