'Fifty Shades Darker' news: Jamie Dornan excited to play Christian Grey again; Dakota Johnson has no problem doing anything

Fans who have been waiting for the sequel to E.L. James’ novel turned film titled “Fifty Shades Darker” is on the same boat as its lead actor, Jamie Dornan.

Selected as one of the Men of the Year in PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive issue for 2015, the actor told the magazine, “I’m looking forward to embodying Christian again and getting a chance to show more of him.”

Meanwhile, back in July, he refuted the rumors that the delay on the production for the next installment was caused by his wife Amelia Warner, who is apparently upset with the risqu and explicit scenes in the movie. “Total b******s,” he said.

He added that contrary to people’s beliefs, his wife has been supportive since the start of the film that catapulted his career to international stardom.

There are also speculations that Fifty Shades Darker may be given an R-21 rating as the sex scenes may become more salacious compared to the first one in order to stick with the original source materials.

Although there no official statement has been released, Dakota Johnson, who plays Anastasia Steele, previously shared with ELLE that she has no problems with it, “I do not have any problem doing anything. The secret is I have no shame.”

“Reading the book, I found myself more interested in the ways they were breaking each other down emotionally than the sex scenes. I think there’s a part of a woman that wants to be the thing that breaks a man down,” she added.

The filming of Fifty Shades Darker is predicted to commence in January 2016 in time for its release in February 2017. It may be shot at the same location in Vancouver, Canada.
