In less than a month, “Fear the Walking Dead” season 2 will be returning to the small screen, with dangers looming ahead for the survivors aboard the yacht named Abigail, as they navigate through the water.
The show has been consistent in hyping the fans as the premiere date nears, with numerous sneak peeks and trailers already released for the sophomore show. On its Twitter account, the page continues to put gif and still images of the zombies, as well as some snippets from season 1 of the show.
Additionally, the page also teased that Madison (Kim Dickens) and Travis (Cliff Curtis) will face more dangers, possibly some fights and disagreements along the way, in a post a few days ago.
Fans expressed their excitement for the new season, saying how they cannot wait for its premiere. To further raise the anticipation, fans may also have the chance to see the cast members, including Curtis Dickens, along with executive producers Dave Erickson and Gale Anne Hurd at the PaleyFest in Los Angeles on Mar. 19.
Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly was also able to get a hold of an exclusive 30-second video that further highlights the dangers ahead. The sneak peek starts off with someone saying in the background that “what’s happening is natural,” explaining that “the world could not sustain as it’s had enough” as it showed some scenes of the water and the yacht.
After which, Daniel (Ruben Blades) says, “If this is the end of the world, it’s already over,” while someone fires some enemies. The scenes were followed by arguments, before Victor (Colman Domingo) highlights that the real threats in the ocean are the people. The clip ends with zombies on their way to attack the survivors.
“Fear the Walking Dead” season 2 will premiere on Apr. 10 at 9 P.M. EST on AMC.
