The eighth sequel of the action-packed movie “Fast and Furious” has officially began filming in Iceland. Unfortunately, a horse was accidentally killed on set. Also, the list of cars to be used in the film was leaked.

The movie is known for its grand display of speedy and luxurious cars like Lamborghinis and Imprezas. Fans are now anticipating what kind of cars will be used in the new sequel. A certain Ben from Portland spotted and gave Jalopnik photos of the vehicles that he saw at a port. The vehicles include Murcilagos, Imprezas, a Rally Fighter, military green armored trucks, a golf cart, and multiple Ripsaw ATVs.

In another report, TMZ posted that a bizarre accident happened while the cast is filming in Iceland. An iceberg prop from the set was suddenly blown by strong wind and hit the leg of a horse in the nearby paddock. The horse, named Jupiter, is not part of the production. Jupiter was euthanized because of the injury, while another horse was also hit but is now recovering. The report added that the production crew already talked to the owner of the horses and confirmed insurance would pay for the cost of the horses and the fence restorations.

The official plot is still not available as of this time. However, during the release of the Blu-ray version of “Straight Outta Compton” in January, director F. Gary Gray dropped some hints as reported by Collider.

The director said that the new sequel is not going to be “more of the same.” Gray explained, “Hopefully, I bring more to it, that’s part of the point is to bring something different to the franchise while still satisfying what the fans want.”

Gray could not disclose more details but added, “All I have to say is I’m extremely excited about the direction we’re going in, and we’re really pushing to make sure the audience feels like it’s not more of the same. They feel like it’s fresh, they fell like the characters they’ve come to know and love are there, but this is gonna be different.”

Watch out for the release of “Fast and Furious 8” on April 14, 2017.
