There is no stopping “Fast and Furious 8” from crashing into the theaters on April 14, 2017 as various reports claim that things are fast shaping up for the sequel with its confirmed almost-all original cast and the supercars that will be used by Dom’s team in the movie.
As expected, the sequel will still be top-billed by Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Lucas Black, Eva Mendes, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jason Statham. However, “Fast and Furious 8” may introduce a new character who will be played by model Cara Delevingne. It is also rumored that Charlize Theron will be part of the movie and plays the main antagonist. Cody Walker, brother of the late Paul Walker, is also said to lend his acting chops anew via the latest “Fast and Furious” installment.
Apart from the cast, rumors as to what type of supercars will be used in the movie have also surfaced. After Jalopnik uploaded on its website photos of the said cars that are believed to be used in the movies, fans of the “Fast and Furious” movies are now excited to see Subarus, Rally Fighters and Lamborghini Murcielagos in the movie, that will leave them in awe not only with their appearance but performance, too.
Meanwhile, if the report of TMZ is to be the basis, it seems that the production of “Fast and Furious 8” has already commenced. The website of the paparazzi TV show reports that a horse named Jupiter was euthanized after a plastic iceberg hit it. What does it have to do with “Fast and Furious 8”? Well, it so happened that the faux iceberg came from the set of the “Fast and Furious 8” movie in Iceland and was blown by strong gale winds, badly hitting the horse’s leg and leading it to be euthanized.
TMZ added that it was the people from the “Fast and Furious 8” production that informed the owner of the horse of what had happened and promised that insurance would pay for the killed horse and the repair of its fence.
