The mods support for “Fallout 4” has already been released for Xbox One and PC users. Now, it is only the gamers of PlayStation 4 who are missing out on the fun. It was said that mods for the PlayStation 4 would be released in June but August is already here and there is still no update.
As many players are already itching to get “Fallout 4” mods for the PlayStation 4, game developer Bethesda has tried to be very responsive to queries from fans. Pete Hines, vice president of the company, has been giving his best effort in continually updating the players. In reply to fans who are asking about the release date for the PlayStation 4 mods, he mentioned in a tweet, “When i have info, i’ll share.”
Based on what has been revealed, the reason for the delay is due technical problems that the developers experienced while making mods for the said console.
The company can’t also be blamed since they have also been working on new downloadable content (DLC) for the game. They recently released the newest DLC, which is called Vault-Tec Workshop. In that DLC, players can finally make their own vault, and the possibilities of gameplay are endless especially when combined with support for mods.
Another DLC is also coming soon, titled Nuka-World, bringing in a new storyline and location. It will also be the final DLC for “Fallout 4.”
Meanwhile, PC and Xbox One users have been experiencing technical problems for the mods of the game. It is said that the website of Bethesda was also being affected. The players can’t seem to gain any access to the mods.
Bethesda has already expressed their concern and assuaged the players’ concerns by announcing, “We are investigating issues reported with Fallout 4 Mods both in-game and on the mods site. Stay tuned for updates,”
