Speculations have it that the rumored new album from Eminem may be delayed due to apparent financial problems that the legendary artist is facing.
This has seemingly led to assumptions that Eminem could be focusing first on other ventures as he either has some financial troubles or may not be earning as much as he used to. Among the projects he is rumored to be currently working on include a collaboration with Shawn Mendez, a potential smartphone application, and personal merchandise. However, since Eminem has yet release an officially statement regarding his album, available information should be taken with a grain of salt.
Recently, fans went into frenzy when news broke out about a potential face-off between Marshall Mathers and hip-hop artist Drake which could turn out to be the ultimate rap battle.
It allegedly all started when New York radio station Hot 97’s host DJ Ebro brought up the topic of a rumored feud between the two, following Drizzy’s longtime beef with a member of Eminem’s Shady Records crew, Joe Budden.
“I told Drake that I heard the rumor Eminem was going to gear up to come after him. He laughed. He was like, ‘That’s not gonna happen.’ He’s like, ‘He’d never do that. And if he did, I got something for him, too,” Ebro said on his segment.
Although the radio show host later clarified that it was a joke, Drake seems to have also responded during his Summer Sixteen concert at Madison Square Garden on Aug. 4. The singer said during the beginning of the show, “They tellin’ lies on Hot 97 and that’s how it goes.”
