'Elder Scrolls 6' release date may be on 2017: what to expect

“The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” was almost released five years ago, and it became a massive hit for the franchise offering a lot of possibilities and exploration in the world of role-playing games (RPG). Electronic Entertainment Expo is just around the corner and fans of the franchise are expecting new announcements for “Elder Scrolls VI.”

As mentioned in reports, there is still no confirmation whether the developers, Bethesda, are going to release new information regarding the game. During the conclusion of E3 last year the company said that they will not always make an appearance every year. However, they are part of the lineup for this year’s E3, and one of their big titles is the “Elder Scrolls” franchise.

Yibada said that if ever there would be a next installment for “Elder Scrolls: Skyrim,” they might continue with the brand and push through with “Skyrim 2.”

In addition, Bethesda is also looking for people to fill in the positions of game designers or a team of creative people who has enough experience with working in RPGs. The job search has already been circulating online. This is probably a sign that the developers are working on it full time.

However, the release may still be expected to be on 2019 since the “Elder Scrolls” franchise has a pattern in launching games. Furthermore, they usually release every four years, and “Elder Scrolls: Online” was just released back in 2015, not unless the company does not stick with the usual pattern.

According to News4c, the Vice President of Bethesda, Pete Hines, has mentioned that they are not really into rushing with finishing the game. They also want the fans to still enjoy the other titles that the company releases.

Fans are still hoping for a 2017 release, but they can only find out further in the upcoming E3 this June 2016.
