Bandai Namco is already in full marketing mode with just a couple of months left before the follow-up game to “Dragon Ball Xenoverse” finally drops. Alongside the obvious preparations for the release of “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2,” there has also been an influx of reports hinting on what is in store for gamers, including confirmation of Black Goku’s appearance and other bits of information which can be seen in the new promo clip.
Countless reports have popped up online which teased recent developments with regard to character additions. This was followed shortly by the release of the game’s English trailer, specifically targeting the international market.
Furthermore, Bandai Namco has also recently announced a brand-new pre-order treat that fans can take advantage of several weeks before the title finally arrives. The game developing company took to their official Facebook page to share that GameStop PowerUp Rewards members will be able to score an exclusive Goku keychain, among other freebies, if they buy the game before it launches.
According to the announcement, members will also get the Tao Pai Pai Stick Vehicle and a playable character from “Dragon Ball Super.” The post came with a link to GameStop’s “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” page where potential buyers will be able to choose from all the available editions of the title, as well as the game’s Season Pass.
On top of that, Future Trunks from “Dragon Ball Super” is also available via purchasing one of the special editions of the upcoming game. Future Trunks and Black Goku were last minute additions from Bandai Namco when they realized that fan clamor for these two special characters had been impressively high.
“Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” will be released in North America on Oct. 25 followed by Europe on Oct. 28. It will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, as well as the Microsoft Windows PC.
