As shown in the previous episode of “Dragon Ball Super,” Future Trunks was able to hold his own against Zamasu and Black Goku. But how long can he hold them back while Son Goku and Vegeta look for a way to defeat the evil duo? Titled “Don’t Defy the Saiyan Cells! The Curtain Rises on Vegeta’s Intense Battle!” episode 63 starts with Future Trunks battling Zamasu and Black, and the animation for the fight looks good.
Goku and Vegeta will return to the future timeline, and sources say they arrive just in the nick of time to save Future Trunks from Black. As shown in the teaser, Goku will ask Vegeta to take care of Black. Sources say Future Trunks isn’t out of the fight yet and he will team up with Vegeta to battle Black.
On the other hand, Goku will battle the immortal Zamasu. Has Goku mastered Mafuba? Is he ready to use the technique on Zamasu? He was still practicing how to use the technique in the previous episode, so hopefully he can use it properly by now.
There are reports saying Future Trunks will be in grave danger and Vegeta will sacrifice himself to save him. While Vegeta survives the blow, he is going to be badly injured. However, he still finds enough strength in him to fight against Black.
There is also talk of Beerus arriving in the future to handle the task himself. Gowasu will also be with him. However, this rumor seems a bit of a stretch since Beerus does not really care about the future timeline as long as the present timeline is safe from the menace of Zamasu. Gowasu does feel guilty for his role in training Zamasu, so maybe he will do something to make up for his mistakes.
As of now, readers are advised to take everything with a grain of salt because details for the next installment have yet to be revealed.
“Dragon Ball Super” episode 63 will air on Oct. 23, at 9 a.m. JST on Fuji TV.
