Zamasu’s story arc continues in “Dragon Ball Super” as the upcoming episode of the animated series will finally unravel the Shinjin creature’s plans to destroy mankind.
On top of divulging Zamasu’s evil plans, the chapter titled “Zamasu’s Ambition: The Human Elimination Plan is Divulged” is said to be showing a bit more on the real identity of Goku Black. Spoilers suggest that Goku Black will be taking his time to fully transform into Super Saiyan Rose in order to use his utmost powers to hand their enemies nothing but defeat. Goku, Vegeta, Future Trunks, Beerus and Whis, on the other hand, will also be trying to use their capabilities to ensure that the evil Goku will not be able to execute his plans.
Aside from the forthcoming episode’s synopsis, a couple of chapters down the line have also been teased with episode 62 titled “Trunks’ Super Power!” and episode 63 called “Vegeta Fierce Battle.” In the former, which will roll out on Oct. 16, Trunks will be tapping into his newly found massive strength and energy which will be enough to get past Super Saiyan 2. Meanwhile, in the latter, it is expected that Vegeta will be fighting villains most probably either Goku Black or Zamasu. The installment will go on air a week after, on Oct. 23. Both episodes are tipped to be character-centric as hinted by their titles and it will be a breath of fresh air having to focus more on the heroes instead of the villains.
Going back to the upcoming episode, the 61st installment of “Dragon Ball Super” was directed by Takao Iwai, with the screenplay by Atsuhiro Tomioka, the storyboard by Ken Otsuka and Masahiro Shimanuki as the animation supervisor.
“Dragon Ball Super” started airing last July 2015. It stands as a sequel story to the “Dragon Ball” manga and the “Dragon Ball Z” animated series. It airs every Sunday, 9 a.m. JST on Fuji TV.
