“Dark Souls 3” noted excellent sales during its launch, but the developers are ensuring that the players still have more things to look forward to as just shortly after its release, there are already DLCs planned for the title.

Bandai Namco has confirmed that the first expansion for the game is expected to come in fall, reported Video Gamer. After which, the second DLC is expected to be released later on. At this point, almost no details have been revealed yet as to what will come in the upcoming add-ins, but as earlier announced, fans may look forward to new bosses, enemies, weapons, armors, and even new locations.

Fans who already decided to get the DLC may purchase a season pass, which is priced at around $30. No word has been indicated yet for individual prices.

Meanwhile, the game was released in Japan on March 24, while the rest of the regions got their copies just last week. According to Game Spot, “Dark Souls 3” noted a record-breaking debut as the most successful first day sales from publisher FromSoftware in Japan. Aside from this, the game continues to enjoy sales as more and more players become interested in buying and trying out the title.

Similarly, the United Kingdom has also noted excellent sales during its first week. On the other hand, nothing has been released yet regarding its standing in the United States, but it is highly possible that the game has also been received well by the market.

Upon its release, there were identified issues, particularly for PC users, but according to WCCF Tech, the recent test already noted a significant improvement in the performance, at least compared to the performance of its console counterparts.

“Dark Souls 3” is available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 platforms.
