The much awaited second season of “Marvel’s Daredevil” is here. Recently, main star Charlie Cox talked about which character he would like to have in the show if it will be given the chance to have more seasons.
In a recent interview with ScreenRant, Cox, who plays the character of Matt Murdock aka Daredevil, revealed that the top character he would want to have in the series is Bullseye.
“If we are fortunate enough to continue making the ‘Daredevil’ series, I can’t imagine doing a run of Daredevil where Bullseye doesn’t show up at some point. It would be great to have him around at some point.”
However, Cox does not have anyone in mind when it comes to who should play the role of Bullseye. The great desire to bring the character to Netflix comes from Bullseye being a great part of the Daredevil mythos especially in relation to Karen Page.
“Who would play that part I have no idea but I just think there’s such an interesting, rich character there, and also of course, the history that Bullseye has with Karen Page is an interesting dynamic,” the actor continued. “When you read the comics it’s etched in a Daredevil memory all that stuff.”
Additionally, despite all these, the actor emphasized that he does not know anything about the release plans of Marvel for the future of its Netflix series, even more so if “Daredevil” would be getting a third season.
“I have to preface all of this because I got in trouble in the past for speculating so I preface it all by saying I have no idea what the Netflix-Marvel plans are,” Cox said. “I have no idea if there’s going to be a third season. If there was one I have no idea what characters would be involved all that core stuff but you guys get that.”
In the comics, Bullseye’s real name is Lesterhis last name was never revealedwho has no superpowers at all. Instead, he relies in his great physical ability to utilize almost anything and everything he can as a weapon.
Aside from Bullseye, Cox would want to explore the conflict between Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin and Daredevil deeper, as there are still many parts of their dynamic still left untold.
