The second season of Netflix’s “Daredevil” is far from being released, but a sneak peek was shown to fans during the New York Comic Con.

The two-minute teaser mostly featured scenes from the first season of the show. It showed Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock fighting members of the mob in Hell’s Kitchen, New York and Vincent D’Onofrio who played Wilson Fisk. Snippets from reviews of critics were also featured. “I need to be the man this city needs,” Matt said.

The most interesting part of the teaser is the 20-second or so clip that featured scenes from the second season. One scene showed Matt, Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll), and Franklin “Foggy” Nelson (Elden Henson) sitting beside each other in a church. Then, Matt can be seen asking Father Lantom (Peter McRobbie) why he still feels guilty, to which the priest replies, “Guilt can be a good thing.”

Some shots of Foggy with cops looking down and Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) were included as well. At the 1:50 mark, a glimpse of lodie Yung as Elektra is show. She pulls a red mask on to cover the bottom half of her face. Afterwards, a crime scene is being investigated, and Karen can be seen looking at a film with a big skull on it. Fans of the comic book series know that The Punisher’s symbol is a skull.

In a hospital, a man is shown walking down the hallway. Although the face cannot be scene, this is clearly Jon Bernthal who plays Frank Castle or The Punisher in the upcoming season. He carries a shotgun and says “Beg.”

The Punisher/Frank Castle is a vigilante who has sworn revenge on those who killed his family. He used to be a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps before he became known by his alias. He is very proficient in fighting and always training when he is not on a mission.

On the other hand, Elektra is the daughter of a Greek ambassador, and she studied martial arts ever since she was a child. When she was in college, she met Matt Murdock. One of the episodes in the first season of “Daredevil” showed Foggy and Matt talking about a Greek girl who the latter found interesting. Though the character does not possess superpowers, she is very agile and a superb hand-to-hand combatant.

The second season of “Daredevil” will be available on Netflix in 2016.
