Dancing With the Stars update: ABC celebrates show's Emmy nominations; Rumer Willis thanks show for Broadway gig


Dancing with the Stars raked in nominations 67<sup>th Emmy awards including nods for broader categories like Outstanding Reality Competition Program.

Other more specific dance categories such as Outstanding Choreography for Witney Carson, Derek Hough, Tessandra Chavez, and Julianne Hough were also part of the slew of nominations. Host Tom Bergeron was also nominated for Outstanding Host of a Reality Program. Other nominations include technical direction, video control, makeup, lighting design, and camera work.

It’s no wonder why many stars want to join this long running dance reality competition. Previously, there was a rumor that Caitlyn Jenner will be joining the show. Now, another rumor suggests that the Bachelorette’s Kaitlyn Bristowe is heading towards the show after she gives her final rose on her current show, according to Star Pulse.

The show is known for opening a lot of opportunity for its competitors. Just recently, season 20 winner Rumer Willis announced on Instagram that she is making her Broadway debut in the latest Chicago musical, portraying the role of Roxie. The daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore attributes her newfound confidence to taking part in Dancing with the Stars.

Fans of the show have their own respective wish lists for the upcoming 21<sup>st season but there are few confirmations as of the time of this posting.
