With casting for season 7 of Lifetime’s hit reality series “Dance Moms” reportedly underway, names of potential exiting and returning members are making their rounds online.
According to reports, dancer Nia Sioux is believed to still appear in the upcoming installment even after her former co-stars Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler bid their farewell. Sioux is the only original elite team member left in the current season. Her mother also had some heated arguments with coach Abby Lee Miller regarding her daughter’s position during competitions.
However, her recent interview with OK! Magazine seems to hint otherwise. When the young talent was asked if she will stay on the show now that she is a Broadway star, “I have a lot right now that’s in the works and a lot of doors that are opening, and I just wanna take advantage of all the opportunities. So, I think I’m just gonna have to wait and see,” she cryptically replied.
Sioux was recently a part the off-Broadway production of “Trip of Love,” and the critics and fans apparently gave her good reviews for her performance.
She also shared that the best advice that her mom gave her is to always know her worth in order to prevent from being doormat, “She says that to me all the time because sometimes people keep on pushing you down and you just feel like you have to do whatever they say.”
Meanwhile, JoJo Siwa confirmed to Enstars that she will still return to the reality show. The 13-year-old dancer teased that the biggest thing that viewers can expect from the new episodes are different dances. Specifically, fans should look out for their jazz routines which she said were “fun and super exciting” for her.
The network has yet to schedule the premiere of “Dance Moms” season 7 but it is expected to hit the small screen sometime in 2017.
