With casting for Lifetime’s hit reality show “Dance Moms” season 7 reportedly underway, rumors suggest that fan favorite dancer and former cast member Chloe Lukasiak may have a comeback.
According to reports, Chloe’s recent post on her Instagram account seems to have added to the assumption that she may return to the show. The photo features Chloe with two other friends with the caption that reads, “Last day at the original studio.”
Some fans deemed that since she is leaving Studio 19, she may go back to the Abby Lee Dance Company. However, others claim that it could simply mean that the original place may be closing down and the studio will just transfer to another location.
It can be recalled that Chloe had been part of Abby Lee Miller’s pool of young talents since she was 10 years old. She was also a member of the Junior Elite Competition Team but she left, along with her mother Christi, after the dance coach commented on her eye condition, which eventually turned out to be something serious.
Abby Lee allegedly called Chloe’s silent sinus syndrome as a lazy eye, which caused her to exit the series. After quitting the reality show, she began working on different projects that steadily gained her traction among other dancers.
The 15-year-old dancer is currently working on the “Center Stage: On Pointe” TV movie being developed by Lifetime and even secured a role in Timothy Armstrong’s new film titled “Cowgirl’s Story.” She won a Teen Choice Award last year in the category of Choice Dancer. She was also nominated this year alongside Maddie Ziegler and Kalani Hilliker.
However, since neither Chloe nor Lifetime has commented on the matter, available information should be taken with a grain of salt.
The renewal of the series has apparently taken some viewers by surprise. Some believed that there would no longer be a new installment following the departure of Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler. Furthermore, Abby Lee is currently facing some legal issues.
Season 7 of “Dance Moms” is predicted to air in 2017.
