Changes have been made in “Dance Moms” after star Maddie Ziegler got other projects outside of the dance studio. In the first episode of season 6, fans saw coach of the dance school Abby Lee Miller introduce Brynn Rumfallo.
As Ziegler will not be able to compete in some of the dance contests due to her other engagements such as her participation in the upcoming movie, “The Book of Henry,” Miller had to look for a replacement in her absence.
In the premiere episode of the new season, Miller said before introducing Rumfallo, “We don’t have Maddie, that scares me, but I have the next best thing,” noted International Business Times. The new young star has proven herself in her performance, which got the praise of her coach, “Brynn did a great job and I think she proved that she can fill Maddie’s shoes and that will not go unnoticed.”
Meanwhile, in the upcoming episode next Tuesday, titled “Abby vs. Melissa,” the summary indicates that the mothers were shocked with the new team that Abby is forming, noted Zap2it. However, they were even more surprised with the news that Abby may face jail time. In addition, “when Mackenzie receives the brunt of Abby’s rage, Melissa vows not to play nice anymore,” continued the synopsis from the same report.
After which, episode 3 will air even more drama when the team arrives in Los Angeles, noted the summary on Zap2it. Abby will be having a hard time juggling distractions from the mothers, the new dancers, as well as her legal issues. Aside from these, “Ashlee and Brynn are caught in Jill’s cross hairs as Kendall’s position on the team is threatened.”
“Dance Moms” season 6 will air the second episode on Jan. 12, followed by “Mini Dancers, Big Drama” the following week.
