The harmony between the cast members of Lifetime’s hit reality competition show “Dance Moms” will once again be tested for the upcoming installment in the current run.
Upcoming episode titled “The Maddie Humor,” will feature some disagreements as the moms will disagree with coach Abby Lee Miller’s date to the People’s Choice Awards. The synopsis reads, “Maddie is nominated for a People’s Choice Award; the mothers are furious when Abby invites an unexpected guest as her date to the awards; the minis return, along with a new mother whose daughter’s attitude causes a dance catastrophe.”
The new installment will also showcase the ALDC dancers competing at the Dream NDC in California.
Just recently in season 6, moms of young professional dancers Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler, Kendall Verte, Nia Frazier and Jojo Siwa came in to the rehearsals late. When they arrived, they surprised Miller as they were all wearing pajamas. Their actions were said to be intended to prove a point to Miller – that it is not a good idea to go to practice wearing her sleepwear and seemingly looking unprepared.
However, the previous episode dubbed “Abby Lee Horror Story,” their plans have backfired when the coach did not bother to converse with them and Ashlee and daughter Brynn Rumfallo received a big favor from Miller. Before they arrived, she decided to have Brynn do a solo dance number with assistant coach Gianna Martello giving the young girl a private lesson. The other mothers threw shade at Ashlee for appearing as not one of them. It turned out that Ashlee was not aware of their plans, as they purposely did not include her.
Abby comes out and shuts them down, announcing that there will be three solos, Brynn, Maddie and Kendall. They did themed dances representing women associated with infamous crimes in Los Angeles, Black Dahlia for Brynn, Natalia Wood for Kendall and Lizzie Borden for Maddie. The episode ended on a positive note when Ashlee brought Kool-Aid for everyone.
Season six, episode 11 is slated to air on Tuesday, March 15 at 9pm ET.
