“Criminal Minds” season 11 noted strong ratings ever since it returned from its midseason break on Jan. 13, even besting other shows when it aired episode 13, titled “The Bond.” More conflicts and stronger plots are in store for fans when episode 14 returns next week, after a one-week break.
In the upcoming episode of “Criminal Minds” titled “Hostage,” the story will explore a mystery regarding some girls who were kidnapped a long time ago, where one luckily escapes and tells the police about the case.
In the summary posted on The Futon Critic, it reads, “When an 18-year-old girl escapes from a suburban home where she was held captive for years with two other women, the BAU searches for the Unsub who kidnapped them.”
Meanwhile, in the promotional trailer posted on Spoiler TV, the preview started with someone singing the alphabet song in an eerie voice. After which, the snippets show a few girls held captive, while the background explained that it had been more than ten years since they were kidnapped. The Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) tried to open the locks of the place where the girls were kept as they tried to uncover the case and the man behind the kidnappings.
The preview also dramatically teased, “These girls have one thing in common: daddy issues,” before ending with a voice of a man telling his daughter, “If anybody ever found us, remember what I told you, daddy’s the only one who loves you.”
According to Design & Trend, given the show’s general theme of twists, it is possible that the girl who escaped may not be telling the truth. What twists will the upcoming episode have?
Fans will find out how the story will unfold when “Criminal Minds” season 11, episode 14 returns next week, Feb. 10 at 9 P.M. EST on CBS.
