Conor McGregor next fight news: UFC boss already working on 'Mystic Mac's' next fight; Frankie Edgar once again campaigns to fight the former champ

Conor McGregor is not wasting any more time brooding in one corner over his defeat against Nate Diaz during last week’s UFC 196 double header. If not, the Irish fighter is not slowing down especially on his comments about other fighters more specifically Jose Aldo and Rafael Dos Anjos.

McGregor has no trace of regret after trying to do the almost possible going up two weight classes in a snap. In fact, he was even able to beat up Diaz at the start of the fight, it was only towards the end where Diaz saw an opening.

Despite losing, UFC president, Dana White, has nothing but praise for “The Notorious,” that when he spoke to “Russillo and Kanell” earlier this week, he even commended the fighter for taking the risk.

“Conor McGregor is so much fun in the fight business. Guys don’t do that. Guys who are making the money that Conor McGregor makes, has the money in the bank, and all the things that are going on with him, he has a world title, he just decides to jump up two weight classes and fight somebody else,” White said.

He even weighed in the difference between McGregor taking risk to George St. Pierre who has repeatedly refused to go up in weight class to finally fight Anderson Silva a fight that fans have been pushing for for quite some time now.

In the end, White revealed that McGregor is raring to be back in the octagon, a stark difference from Ronda Rousey’s way of coping after her first loss back in UFC 193.

“He wants to fight again as soon as possible. He wants to jump back in there and he wants to fight again. We’re working on who the next opponent will be,” White further added.

Speaking of McGregor’s next fight, Frankie Edgar once again announces his eagerness to book a date with the former champion via a post on Twitter that said, “What do u say @thenotoriousmma? Balls in your court, Now lets see who has a Vagina @robdrake @ShoreShot @HiHoRecords” alongside with a slide show of Edgar’s accomplishments.
