'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered' to be released this November 4; better graphics, smoother gameplay expected

A past installment in the “Call of Duty” game franchise is getting a remastered version and it promises to bring better visuals and smoother gameplay for the current consoles in the market.

“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered” is an upcoming title that isn’t just arriving on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It also comes with support for the mid-generation PlayStation 4 Pro. The console will be further tweaked to perform better as compared to its older brother and with this, combined with the title’s overhauled graphics, it can be expected that the game will boast highly detailed game environments including a fast-paced motion for its characters.

Moreover, it is said that its game maker, Raven Software, has remained true to the title as it kept the updated version as original as possible.

Apart from this, one of the game’s highlights will be the multiplayer battle royal where up to 10 maps will be made available at the player’s disposal with six more to be added during the holidays. In addition, Raven has included an add-on dubbed “Kill Confirmed” that was not showcased in the 2007 version.

Meanwhile, the game’s PC version is also set to launch as its game publisher, Activision, has laid out the minimum prerequisites for the forthcoming title. It’s noteworthy to mention that the game is almost a decade old so it’s pretty much expected that basic PC builds can take the heat.

As per the specs needed, it said that it requires at least 6 GB of random access memory (RAM) with a graphics processing unit (GPU) in the form of either the NVIDIA’s GTS 450 or a Radeon HD 7850 both at 1 GB. Furthermore, the PC needs to be on at least Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10, all on 64-bit with 55 GB of free memory and, of course, an internet connection.

“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered” is slated to be out this Nov. 4 on all major gaming platforms.
