'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered' news: Glitch from original game acknowledged with wet floor sign

It looks like the people at Raven Software have a wicked sense of humor. Players who liked to take advantage of a glitch on one of the maps in the original “Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare” may see a surprising sign this time around.

The spot on the roof used to make players glitch off the map and it allowed them to travel unhindered. A hidden machine gun could also be found. But players will not be slipping outside the map this time because a “caution wet” floor sign has been placed on the spot. Gamers have to admire the humor, and it’s good to know that the developer also knew about the glitches in the original game. Redditor DaJeroen was the first to report this as he shared the discovery with other players.

“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered” is currently bundled with premium editions of “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” which is priced at $80+. The price may be a little steep, and Mack Ashworth of PlayStation LifeStyle did not mince words when he blasted Activision’s marketing ploy by calling it “an outrageously anti-consumer move, corrupting what should be a happy slice of nostalgia.” At least he has some nice things to say about the remastered game.

“‘Modern Warfare Remastered’ is a near-perfect remaster. The developer has fiddled with things only when absolutely necessary, and though I do wish some of the multiplayer perks had been tweaked or removed altogether, I can understand why they have been left alone,” Ashworth stated.

Meanwhile, “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” isn’t doing as well as “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.” PC Gamer’s Tyler Wilde said that he was disappointed with the campaign mode so far while the multiplayer mode was fine. Well, at least gamers who bought that game will also have a classic game on their hands.
