Episode 8 of “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” already aired, leaving it in the history books. Now, rumors and speculations surrounding the upcoming episodes of the hit anime series continue to swirl online.

According to reports, the succeeding episodes will shift into its next arc. With this, the spotlight will also move and now, it will focus on Sarada Uchiha and her family. Rumors point that fans will get to learn more about the Sarada’s red glasses. They will also learn more about her father, Sasuke, and her mother, Sakura, in the upcoming episodes.

The writers of the series have not given a solid confirmation about the details. However, fans strongly believe that the flow of events, as well as the next arc based on the manga that will be used in the anime, will most likely lead to that direction. According to the events in the manga titled “Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring,” Sarada will leave their village in search of her father, with a little help from Chocho Akimichi.

Moreover, Comicbook.com detailed some of the things that might take place, should the manga be followed to the letter. Sarada, already growing tired of her father’s absence, will also start to question if Sakura is her real mother.

Something, however, will interrupt Sarada’s search for her father, as a mysterious ninja appears and confronts her. Naruto then comes to her rescue. The Hokage will prevent a ninja, who also bears the Sharingan, to abduct her.

The previous episode is titled “The Dream’s Revelation,” where everything seemed to fall into place. In the said episode, Boruto finally realized his true great purpose in life. The anime’s protagonist had a dream where he talked to a mysterious figure. This person was actually Toneri, who told him that he will be the only one who can save them from a looming destruction.

In addition, the dream gave him the confidence to talk to his parents regarding his eye power. He then took on the challenge presented by Toneri in the dream to be a hero, while claiming that he had already mastered the Byakugan.
