Titled “Fresh Start,” episode 15 will see Erin being overwhelmed with the guilt that she may have recently set free a man who is being accused of killing a cop.
Meanwhile, Frank (Tom Select) and Mayor Poole (David Ramsey) will continue their game of political chicken for Frank’s reappointment as a commissioner. Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Baez (Marissa Ramirez) will look into another police officer who has disappeared without leave.
Some of the guest stars will include Kyle Paul as Officer Kenneth Nelson, Adriana Demeo as Laura Nelson, Scott Aiello as Officer Abrams and Leo Minaya as Javier Fernandez.
Moreover, next week’s episode will have Academy Award-winning actress Whoopi Goldberg joining the cast for a brief role as Regina Thomas, an outspoken city council speaker.
Dubbed “Help Me Help You,” the narrative will have Goldberg going head-to-head with Frank who voices out her strong opinion against the NYPD’s broken windows policy.
Linda (Amy Carlson) will also ask Danny and Baez to help a co-worker who is having trouble with an angry ex-husband. Meanwhile, Erin has to figure out how to handle her former mentor – Judge Wilson (Dakin Matthews) – who has been handing down unfair sentences since the recent death of his wife.
Future installment for the series is teased to showcase a shooter, believed to be targeting the members of NYPD when a reporter who was tagging along a mission was suddenly shot while wearing the police’s gear in the filed.
Episode 15 of “Blue Blood” will air on Feb. 19, to be followed by episode 16 on Feb. 26 at 10 P.M. ET/PT.
