BlackBerry Priv vs LeTV Le Max Pro: Latter offers more powerful processor; Priv offers better storage options

LeTV Le Max recently released its latest smartphone, the Le Max Pro, and it seems to be posing some stiff competition for the Blackberry Priv which was released only last October.

The Le Max Pro features a 6.33-inch touchscreen display with 1440×2560 resolution, while the Blackberry Priv display is only 5.40 inches with the same resolution.

The Blackberry Priv is powered by the faster 1.44GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, and it comes with 3GB of RAM. Meanwhile the Le Max Pro uses a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM.

The advantage of the Priv is that it has a 32GB internal storage which can be expanded by up to 2TB compared to the Le Max Pro, which does not feature any expanded storage options save for its 32GB internal storage.

The Le Max Pro, however, has the advantage when it comes to the camera as it features a 21-megapixel rear snapper compared to the Priv which features an 18-megapixel rear camera.

Because the Le Max Pro was released later than the Blackberry Priv, it runs on Android 6.0 compared to the Priv’s Android 5.1.1. The Le Max Pro is powered by a 3400 mAh non-removable battery while the Priv’s battery, is similarly non-removable and slightly weaker at 3410 mAh.

Another feature of the Priv is Blackberry’s signature physical keyboard, a solid metal frame and a back panel that gives users extra grip. The Le Max Pro, on the other hand, features a metal unibody and a fingerprint scanner at the back which the Priv does not have. Both phones only offer one color, silver for the Le Max and black for the Priv.
