'Beauty and the Beast' season 4 spoilers: First look features beast hunters ending Cat, Vincent's post-wedding bliss

In preparation for the premiere of the fourth and the final season of The CW’s fantasy romance story “Beauty and the Beast,” the network has given the viewers its first ever look featuring many battles waiting for Cat (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan).

The promotional trailer titled “Bloodstream” starts with a scene from the couple’s wedding as they exchange “I do’s.” The two seem to have been relaxing and having some time off, with Cat stating “I don’t want this to end” to which Vincent quips with, “We’ve got nothing to worry about.”

However, their wedding bliss may not last long as beast hunters are after Vincent. He believes that if they capture him, it may not be enough for them, “They might capture me, they might kill me.”

It also appears that their situation will put a strain to their marriage, as his wife convinces him that they can triumph over their struggles. “I can’t do this without you,” Vincent says to which Cat replies with, “I don’t want to.” The footage ends with the former announcing that they have to move on from their happy times, “Honeymoon’s over.”

Austin Basis who plays JT revealed that the newlyweds are going to be pretty romantic, “After Vincent and Cat tied the knot last season, all of the characters are in the honeymoon period the calm after the storm that was Liam [Jason Gedrick].”

“It’s an easier adjustment for some than for others. Along with a couple of new threats (and characters), there will be the usual action, intrigue, suspense and supernatural drama but the romantic elements that made the show what it was in Season 1 will be more present,” he added.

“Beauty and the Beast” season 4 is slated to air on Thursday, June 2 at 8 P.M. EDT.
