'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice': Stan Lee thinks Superman will win

The Man himself, Stan Lee, has placed his bet for Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

One of the oldest topics of debates in the world of comic books is the clash between Superman and Batmanwho will win? Who will kneel to the other? While it has been repeatedly portrayed in different forms of mediain graphic novels and animationsthere are still endless opinions and arguments about who will actually beat who. And with the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice finally bringing the battle to the big screen, the debate has once again been rekindled.

Comics legend Stan Leecreator of Spider-Man and a lot of other iconic Marvel superheroeshas spoken about who he thinks will win in the battle between The Man of Steel and The Dark Knight.

In an interview with The Boston Herald, he talked about people’s love for comics, as well as his own personal heroes. When the conversation shifted to him being asked about his bet on a battle between the two DC heroes, he had a clear answer.

“Oh, Superman,” he responded. “I think. I mean, he’s indestructible, he can do anything. And Batman relies on a few weapons.

“The fellow who created Batman, Bob Kane, was a good friend of mine, so he’d be unhappy with me saying that,” he added. “But at the same time, Jerry Siegel, one of the creators of Superman, worked for me for a while. So I feel I have divided loyalties.

“But if this is real–a fight between Superman and Batman–there’s no way you’d bet on Batman.”

But, how about with Ben Affleck as The Caped Crusader?

“Well, I like Ben Affleck,” he said “If they get Mortimer Snerd to play Superman, maybe Affleck would have a chance. I don’t know.”
