'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' trailer to be released; Ben Affleck facing 'a ton of pressure'

It is high-time for fans of superheroes as FOX announced that the widely anticipated film “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will have a new trailer, and it will be released on Nov. 30.

According to Gamesradar, the sneak peek will be shown during the midseason finale of the TV series “Gotham,” which is aired on FOX. Producer Charles Roven previously teased that they will be unveiling the preview before the year ends, which may mean that the upcoming promo may be the last one before the movie hits the big screen.

Two companion books will also be launched by Scholastic. The first one titled “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Cross Fire” gives light to a tie-in story before the events that will unfold in the film. The other one is a fully colored guide book for fans who want to know everything about Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck as they portray the Man of Steel and Caped Crusader, respectively.

With director Zack Snyder taking the helm, Affleck shared to Variety that he believes it will be a great year for both Warner Bros. and the DC Expanded Universe. “They are now developing… probably the single greatest under-exploited IP asset in the entertainment business, the DC comic world. And now they have started to exploit that and you are going to see that blossom. And, when it does, it’s going to be massive,” the actor said.

He also admitted that there is pressure in making the movie, “I think there is a ton of pressure on it. I mean I would be b********* you to say there isn’t.” He, however, stated that everyone is committed in helping the franchise become a success as they make sure that he has time for “The Batman” and “Justice League.” The latter is expected to start production next spring.

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is slated to premiere on March 25, 2016.
