'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' full trailer gets its release


A new teaser trailer for the upcoming and much awaited film “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” was shown at the end of the fall midseason finale of “Gotham.” The teaser featured an entirely fresh footage featuring an encounter between Ben Affleck’s Batman and Henry Cavill’s Superman.

Following the action-packed midseason finale of “Gotham”which featured a short appearance of Mr. Freezethe promised new teaser for “Batman v Superman” was also streamed. The teaser trailer, which was only 49 seconds long, featured a short scene showing The Dark Knight being confined in a room. The Man of Steel then arrives, looking furious, and then unmasks the Batman, revealing the face of Bruce Wayne.

Those who thought that the teaser was too short can catch full trailer on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” On Dec. 2.

Fans of the upcoming film can also purchase the original companion novel for “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” titled “Cross Fire: An Original Companion Novel (Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice)” by Scholastic, Inc. Although the novel is tied to the movie, it does not have the same plot as that of the upcoming film.

The synopis of the novel reads, “After saving Metropolis from an alien invasion, Superman is now famous around the world. Meanwhile Gotham City’s own guardian, Batman, would rather fight crime from the shadows. But when the devious Doctor Aesop escapes from Arkham Asylum, the two very different heroes begin investigating the same case and a young boy is caught in the cross fire.”

“Cross Fire: An Original Companion Novel (Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice)” is avaialable for pre-order on Amazon. On the other hand, “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
