By this time, DC is already in full swing in terms of “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” promotion as it is only less than two months before their first crossover movie.
“I mean there are a few things, a few 3D shots coming in that we are approving and things like that. I’d say the movie is 90 percent, 99.9 percent done,” directoy Zack Snyder revealed during his recent stint in the “Hall of Justice” podcast. “And really at this point we’re just fine tuning the final details while we get ‘Justice League’ ready.”
With this, the team is already in crunch time to make the best out of the filming they had. Warner Bros. and DC know that a lot is hinging on this movie as it will be the launch pad of many other movie projects from the partnership such as Wonder Woman’s standalone movie slated in 2017.
Speaking of “Justice League,” Snyder, who will also be helming the two-part massive film, revealed what fans can expect on the League members in “Batman v. Superman.”
“As far as the other Justice League characters go, they play a very small role. It’s really just a whisper they exist. Except for Wonder Woman, we see her really well. But really, the movie is about Batman and Superman,” the 49-year-old director said. “And we really take time with them and we really drill down on the why of them and what they stand for and their beliefs and them as characters. That’s pretty much the why of the movie. But again as I said, it does begin the conversation about these guys are out there.”
“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will show the cause of the formation of the “Justice League,” led Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot). Although Batman and Superman might be on opposite sides at first, they will eventually get together to fight off Doomsday. However, as previously noted by Movie Pilot, Doomsday is not the final villain in the movie as what the trailer preliminary suggested.
“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be hitting theaters on March 25.
