'Batman: Return to Arkham" release news: Graphics of the two previous titles has improved drastically

The last release of the “Arkham” series was “Arkham Knight” which was almost a year ago. Now, the developers, Rocksteady Studios, are giving the fans of the franchise a nostalgic feeling as they would soon release “Batman: Return to Arkham.”

As mentioned in reports, the new title will consist of the two previous popular games which are “Batman: Arkham Asylum” and “Batman: Arkham City.” Those two games will be featured as a remastered version packaged into one game. “Batman: Arkham Origins” was not included due to the negative reception that it received when it was released.

Aside from the two games that are featured in “Batman: Return to Arkham,” all downloadable content (DLC) and also the Game of the Year content will also be contained in the collection.

A new trailer for the new upcoming title has also been released recently and it shows how much of the graphics have improved according to Yibada. Virtuos has developed the Unreal Engine 4 which helped in improving the graphics for the remastered versions of “Final Fantasy X” and “Final Fantasy X-2.” Furthermore, the same technology was utilized for “Batman: Return to Arkham” and the improved high-definition (HD) graphics were evident in the trailer.

During the trailer, it was shown that the game featured a lighter shade of color instead of its usual dark themes. The PC version was also shown in the trailer, and with the maximum settings, this may possibly be the best version of the games.

On the other hand, it seems that the era of the “Arkham” franchise may have ended in “Arkham Knight.” Rocksteady may be preparing a new game that is still in the same universe, it is speculated that a “Justice League” game may be in the works. During “Arkham Knight” there were Easter eggs in the game that was connected to other DC Universe characters such as Lex Luthor, Superman and Wonder Woman. However, this is still yet to be confirmed.

Fans can expect “Batman: Return to Arkham” to be released on July 29 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
