'Attack on Titan' updates: Season 2 will introduce ape-like titan, game includes Titan Eren, Female Titan in the characters


Fans have been waiting for the sequel of “Attack on Titan” after its first season proved to to be a success.

Last month, some of the rumors that spread include its storyline focusing on the 104<sup>th Trainees Squad led by Captain Erwin Smith, as they battle against the attacking Titans on Wall Rose. “Attack on Titan” season 2 will also explore the story of the Reiss family, where viewers will find out that they are the true family with royal lineage. In line with this, Lenz, daughter of Rod Reiss, will be revealed as the rightful owner of the Coordinates.

Rumors also say that the upcoming season will reveal Bertolt Hoover and Reiner Braun as the “Colossal Titan” and “Armoured Titan.” Nonetheless, the most shocking spoilers of all is the impending death of Levi Ackerman, narrated in chapter 73 of its manga version, to save Armin Arlert, Mikasa Ackerman, and Eren Yaeger.

In addition to these, there are new rumors surfacing that an ape-like titan, which will have the ability to speak, will also be included in season 2.

“Attack on Titan” season 2 is expected sometime in 2016.

Meanwhile, the “Attack on Titan” game have several new characters, Gematsu confirmed through the screenshots released by Famitsu. Some of the new ones are Erwin Smith and Mike Zacharius for the Survey Cops, Nile Dok, Hitch Dreyse, and Marlo Freudenberg for the Military Police, and Titan Eren and the Female Titan for the Titans.

According to the same report, using the Titan as a character will give the players a new experience as it will be different compared to using a soldier. They have special attacks such as attacking another titan and building destructions.

Additionally, the game will also have a new stage, called the “Stohess District” where players will have the chance to bout with the Female Titan, as well as a new location where fans can craft new weapons to be used by their characters.

The “Attack on Titan” game will be released for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita on Feb. 18 in Japan, North America, and Europe.
