In the upcoming chapter of the original manga series “Attack on Titan,” originally titled “Shingeki no Kyojin” in Japan, the Survey Corps is expected to now have the upper hand over the powerful Titans as Levi Ackerman, Mikasa Ackerman, Eren Jaeger go on with the battle of Shiganshina. While there was a big price that was paid in order to have the advantage in battle, it is expected that these characters some of them, at least may not be dead after all.
In the most recent chapter of “Attack on Titan,” which was chapter 82 and titled “Hero,” the Survey Corps continued their fierce battle against the massive and powerful Colossal Titan. In the midst of the fight, Armin gave himself up in order to distract Bertolt and give Eren the chance to deal a fatal blow to the enemy while it focused its attention on Armin.
However, the success of the plan did not come without a price, as the move that Armin made led to him suffering from serious burns, leaving his body all scorched and him presumably dead. In his final conscious moments, Armin thought of his and Eren’s dream of going out to the ocean one day and knowing for the first time how it really looked like.
However, rumors have it that while Armin is evidently not in good shape, he may not be dead at all though there had also been talks that the mangaka, Hajime Isayama, might really be serious about killing off a major character that fans had been with ever since the first moments of the manga, and in a fashion just like what had been depicted.
While there are no theories as to how Armin would be able to survive what happened to him and still be in one piece, one of the first things that fans thought of that could save him is the Titan serum that Captain Levi still had with him. It is known in the series that the Titan serum can save even those who are on the brink of death, as it had been with Eren in the past.
“Attack on Titan” chapter 83 is expected to arrive this weekend.
