Asus Zenfone 2 vs. Motorola Droid Turbo specs comparison: Droid Turbo better fits people who are always on-the-go

Asus Zenfone 2 and Motorola Droid Turbo may both have similar size and display but in a closer comparison of the two, consumers may have the better decision on which phone comes out on top.

Zenfone 2 comes with 5.5-inch screen in 10801920 resolution and IPS LCD display with 403 pixels per inch in Gorilla Glass 3, while Droid Turbo has a slightly smaller 5.2-inch display with 14402560 resolution in 565 ppi and Quad HD display covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, Zenfone 2 models runs with PowerVR G6430 GPU using either Intel Atom Z3560 or Intel Atom Z3580 with 1.8 GHz quad-core or 2.3 GHz quad-core, respectively, and comes with 3,000mAh battery. Droid Turbo in turn, have Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, 2.7 GHz quad-core Krait 450 and Adreno 420 GPU together with 3,900 mAh battery with fast charging which can last up to 48 hours.

Operating system for Zenfone 2 Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and Droid Turbo uses Android 4.4.4, KitKat.

For users who love having many applications, Zenfone 2 comes in three options of internal storage, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, all expendable with micro-SD card. Droid Turbo only has internal memory of either 32GB or 64GB.

Zenfone 2 comes in several colors such as Black, White, Red, Gray, and Gold while Droid Turbo has Metallic Black, Metallic Red and Sapphire Blue. For added unique features, Droid Turbo is said to be water-resistant.

When it comes to pricing, Zenfone starts at $299 without a contract while Droid Turbo sells at $599.

It depends on how the phones are being used in day-to-day activities but in this comparison, Droid Turbo seems to a better choice as it can provide a longer battery life while offering more features and unique attributes.
