Assassins Creed Movie Release Date, Plot Rumors: Ariana takes place of Alicia Vikander


Actress Alicia Vikander, who recently announced that she out of her role in the movie adaptation of ‘Assassins Creed,’ it is confirmed that Ariane Labed will be joining the cast.

Speaking to Deadline, about her involvement in the project, Labed said, “It’s all new to me, but starting to develop scripts and work on them, they take time. It just takes time to get a good story together and we really want to do it right That’s always the challenge of something that’s so dense, to really find something and pare it down and, basically, there are so many elements to it. Trying to translate that to an audience, you have to pick key things. [P]art of it is getting through the density of it and paring down and engaging a simple story.”

Although Labed’s character has not been revealed yet, looks like he will be replacing Vikander to play the role of the Ex Machina.

The release of the movie, which was originally slated to release on Aug. 7, 2015 , is delayed for release on Dec. 16, 2016.

“We have the pleasure to announce today that the green light has been given by New Regency, and the production has already started.This is a very important milestone for the project and for our team on Assassin’s Creed,” said, chief executive officer Yves Guillemot, according to Den of Geek.

Talking about the plot line of the movie, Producer Frank Marshall said that the movie will be much like the game, yet different in its own way.

According to a report by The Guru Daily, the movie is said to begin production in September. Michael Fassbender is reportedly playing the lead in the movie, with the character Desmond Miles.

The movie will be directed by Justin Kurzel and the screenplay is written by Bill Collage, Adam Cooper and Michael Lesslie.
