Apple has finally opened its Back to School promotion deals on its online store.
A month after launching the promo in regular stores, online buyers are now finally deemed eligible to avail of the free pair of Beats Solo 2 On Ear headphones if the purchase any eligible Mac unit.
The On Ear model headsets cost $199.95 while its wireless version costs $299.95. Buyers who want to get the wireless unit could get them for $100 under the promo but these should be added to the cart manually, reported USA Today.
To avail of the promo, users are directed to the Education Pricing microsite from Apple’s official home page where they can view the benefits available to college students or students who have been accepted to college. Teachers or administrators, and employees of public or private K-12 school, or employees, or parents college students can also avail of the promo.
Aside from the headphones, buyers will be eligible to a $200 discount on MacBooks, Macbook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, iMac with Retina 5K display.
Meanwhile, buyers can also get a discount of $20 for purchases of iPads.
According to a report by Macrumors.com, buyers are also given the chance to choose the color of their free Beats Solo2 headphones upon checkout. Available colors include Gloss Black, Gloss White, Gloss Blue, Gloss Pink, Gloss Gray, Gloss Red, Gold, Silver, or Space Gray.
Buyers who avail of Apple devices for education will also be able to utilize Apple’s wide range of apps that can help students with their schoolwork. On the site, Apple also offers students an easy pay scheme of 48 monthly payments for the units, assistance with the set up, as well as free two-day delivery.
The Apple Back to School promotion will run until September 18, 2015.
