“American Horror Story” star Finn Wittrock offers some new information regarding the very mysterious sixth season of the thriller anthology.
Wittrock recently sat down with The Wrap and was asked about some behind the curtain action for the Ryan Murphy series. While the actor did not delve into specifics he reveals that he thinks that the next installment of the show will somehow be “a little tighter” and “more claustrophobic.”
The 31-year-old supposed “AHS” returnee has not yet confirmed his involvement in the project as he reveals that he already booked previous commitments that will presumably clash with the show’s filming. Despite this, he shared that he is eager to work around it just to be included in “AHS” season 6. If his attendance in the previous Paley Fest panel for the show is any indication how devoted he is to the show, fans can be rest assured that both camps will be trying to exhaust all possible scenarios just so Wittrock can be on board in the project again.
But while he is not yet in the official casting sheet, Wittrock says that he has “heard it is going to be a little tighter there were so many story lines in the last one and it was so big and epic.”
“I have a feeling it might be a little more claustrophobic. A smaller cast,” he added.
Murphy and company have been trying to keep everything about the “AHS” season tightly under the radar as up until now, official news with regards to the upcoming chapter is still very scarce. Wittrock says that it looks like this is very deliberate as even actors like himself are also being kept in the dark.
“I think they literally keep us in the dark so we can’t spill the beans even if we wanted to. I’ve heard lots of different rumors about it, but even last year, I didn’t know about ‘Hotel’ until a few months before we started. I know that they are actively writing it right now they are still figuring out what to do,” he furthered.
The FX supernatural horror series has yet to have an official air date for season 6 but it is expected to be back on air later this year.
