The newest teaser for the highly anticipated season 6 of FX’s “American Horror Story” is here, featuring how all the past and upcoming installments are interconnected with each other.

The clip opens with the Rubber Man from “Murder House” who happens to be in the eye of the crying nun in “Asylum.” Afterward, she is seen inside the mouth of the witches’ snake in “Coven,” who is hiding under the billowing skirts of a character from “Freak Show.” They all end up inside the head of a vixen with a key inserted across her mouth signifying season 5’s “Hotel.”

Although the sneak peek gives a recap of all the monsters the narrative has tackled, the specific theme for this year’s episodes still remain under wraps.

Earlier this month, FX’s president John Landgraf admitted that some of the trailers they have released are meant to send the audience to the wrong conclusions.

“[Creator Ryan Murphy and Stephanie Gibbons, FX head of marketing and on-air promotions] went out and made many more trailers than you’ve actually seen for hypothetical seasons of ‘American Horror Story,’ meaning different genres and different places,” he stated. However, “One of them is accurate, and the others are just misdirects,” he teased.

In order to keep the fans guessing on what the new mystery could be all about, the network recently launched a sleuthing contest. Interested participants have to make the correct guess as to which among the six teasers, titled “Post Op,” “Lullaby,” “Wind Chimes,” “The Shadow,” “Blind Date” and “Campsite,” will be represented in the premiere episode.

After making their choice, they will be entered into the Grand Prize drawing and the winner will be announced during season 6’s premiere on Sept. 14. The lucky winner will win an all-new 2017 Mercedes-Benz C300 Coupe with a custom “American Horror Story” car kit and a trip for two to the production set in Los Angeles.

Among the selections, the promo that seems to hint at a Charles Manson storyline is reportedly the one most predicted to happen. It showcases a child’s mobile that spells out the word “pig,” which was seen on Sharon Tate’s door and was written with her blood when she was killed by the cult. However, it still remains to be seen if it comes to fruition.
