Air Jordan 7 Retro Bordeaux out now from Nike

The Air Jordan 7 Retro Bordeaux was launched by Nike this Saturday, July 18 and the sporting brand piloted a new online system for the release of the AJ7 Bordeaux on Friday, July 17.

The original edition of the Air Jordan 7 Bordeaux was released in 1992, and got retried in 2011. Since then, it became “one of the most unusual color selections among OG Jordans,”  said Sneaker News.

The newly remastered AJ 7 Retro Bordeaux features a graphite gray make with black details all throughout. It has the same iconic and colourful zigzag design on the tongue, as well as on the outsole. The iconic Jumpman logo can also be found on the top design, and on the outsole, too.

As previously mentioned, Nike implemented a new online system for people who wished to grab for themselves the new AJ 7 Retro Bordeaux (and for all other future releases).

“The drawing system is designed to create a more premium in-store launch event for our consumers,” Nike NYC said over Twitter.

The new drawing system, with the tagline “Enter the drawing. Exit the Line” required users to reserve their desired item early on. When they are  lucky enough to be picked by Nike’s raffle system, they will then be eligible to pick-up said item at the Nike store branch of their preference.

To participate in the raffle, fans should make sure to check out Nike on Twitter, as it is where they will post updates regarding new releases. On the link they will be providing, users need only sign in with their Nike+ account, select their shoe size, and their preferred Nike store for pick-up. Should they get lucky, the item reserved would be available for pick-up on the launch date.
