“Agent Carter” season 2 will be airing a back-to-back episode on Feb. 16, titled “Life of the Party” and “Monsters” for episode 6 and 7, respectively.
In the official synopsis posted on Carter Matt, it revealed that in episode 6, Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) will unexpectedly ask for the help of a rival, after recognizing that she may not be able to save Jason Wilkes (Reggie Austin) on her own. While she is engaged on a different matter, Whitney (Wynn Everett) takes advantage to gain control of the Zero Matter.
Meanwhile, the official synopsis released by ABC reads, “When Peggy realizes she cannot save Wilkes on her own, she turns to her most unexpected adversary for help while Whitney makes a move to control the deadly Zero Matter.”
In the trailer posted on Comic Book for the upcoming episode, it revealed that Agent Carter turned to Dorothy “Dottie” Underwood (Bridget Regan) for help. The video showed Dottie teasing Agent Carter, “The reason for your visit is pretty obvious. You need my help.”
Dottie was last seen in season 1 of the show being taken by the FBI, after the Soviet assassin took part in the revenge of Johann Fennhoff (Ralph Brown) against Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper).
Meanwhile, episode 7 will see the plot further thickening as Whitney gains more power and Agent Carter continues on her rescue mission.
In the summary posted on the same page, it reads, “As Peggy plots a rescue mission, Whitney hunts for even more dark power; and Jarvis learns he should not make promises he cannot keep.”
Episodes 6 and 7 of “Agent Carter” season 2 will air on Tuesday at 9 P.M. on ABC. The show will also have another two-hour episode on Feb. 23, titled “The Edge of Mystery” and “A Little Song and Dance” for episodes 8 and 9, respectively.
