There is no confirmed release date yet on the rumored upcoming Lara Croft game titled "Shadow of the Tomb Raider." However, speculations are strong that the title leaked recently may just be the next big thing.
It is reported that a Montréal Redditor with the username Tripleh280 may have accidentally discovered "Shadow of the Tomb Raider," possibly the title of an about to be released Tomb Raider game.
To recall, the user was riding the metro on his way to downtown Montreal when he accidentally chanced upon a person who seems to be working on something that looks familiar to him. The Reddit user successfully took a photo of what appears to be a presentation in a MacBook, with "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" blurry but readable as the title. He posted it on Reddit with the title, "Saw someone working on a presentation for 'Shadow of the Tomb Raider' on the subway (Possible new game?)."
Release Date Portal posted some elements that fans are expecting to improve in "Shadow of the Tomb Raider."
Fans are looking for an out-of-the box plot, something that they didn't enjoy in "Rise of the Tomb Raider" due to its predictable storyline.
With the development of graphics processors in the market today, it is expected that the next Tomb Raider game world will have stunning graphics, better navigation, and either less or no glitches compared to its predecessor. Fans are also keeping their fingers crossed that "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" developers will bring back Horde Mode, a feature that will allow multiple players to defeat their enemies in the game.
"Tomb Raider" was launched in 2013, and "Rise of the Tomb Raider" in 2015. Looking at the timelines, it seems very likely that development of a new Lara Croft Game is on its way in the next two years.
