In spite of her much-talked about divorce, the female host of "Flip or Flop" is looking at the future with high hopes.
Christina El Moussa spoke with Entertainment Tonight recently about her current situation with estranged husband, Tarek El Moussa, and her next plan.
"Honestly, I'm doing really good. The kids are happy, they're healthy, Tarek and I are in a good spot. We have a lot of things that we're working on, cool things coming in the future, so we're just looking forward," Christina explained.
Christina and Tarek are hosts of the popular HGTV house-flipping show for six seasons now.
"They just keep everything super upbeat and light," said the reality star referring to the TV show's production team.
Regardless of their personal struggles, Christina emphasized that her relationship with Tarek, 35, has remained amicable on and off-camera. "We're getting along really, really well right now," she stated.
The 33-year-old Christina is committed to continuing work with Tarek. They have been business partners for over ten years.
Additionally, the reality star confirmed that she and Tarek agreed to leave the past behind and to look forward to the future. She admitted that it was really difficult when they revealed the news of their separation to their eldest child. But, moving on, they are willing to put their children's needs in high regard.
"I think honestly it's just like letting go of past resentment and living in the future, and remembering that kids are the priority," she said and added that they will be in each other's lives forever.
The young mom asserted that her children are her source of strength and inspiration in coping with the divorce. "They are the biggest joy in my life," she said.
Meanwhile, the "Flip or Flop" season 6 finale episode is set to air on March 30.
